1Q probably gets more praise just because it is so common and readily available. BCA was mentioned a couple times in this thread recently. Typically when this is purchased in bulk, it's usually quite wet and sticky. Yet when I check out tobaccoreviews, BCA is an aromatic with over 100 reviews and an average rating of 3.2 while 1-Q is an aromatic with over 100 reviews and a rating of 2.7. Tastes the same. The only bad points for me on this one are the messy moisture at the end of the bowl that requires some cleaning, and the difference between the smell and the taste once its smoked.
